I’m excited to share that we recently exhibited at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo as part of the All Nara Festival, held in the “Matsuri” arena. It was an incredible experience — and a real honour — to represent Ha Partners and showcase our work with Japanese cedar endgrain flooring on such a global stage.

The All Nara Festival was a vibrant celebration of regional culture, featuring a wide array of traditional crafts, foods, and locally made products. It was inspiring to see so many makers and businesses from across Nara come together to share what makes this place so special. We were especially encouraged by the number of international visitors, many of whom showed a deep interest in Nara’s approach to craftsmanship, natural materials, and sustainable living.

Our booth focused on our signature product: modular endgrain flooring made from Sugi (Japanese cedar), sourced and manufactured locally in Yoshino. We had the opportunity to meet architects, designers, builders, and homeowners — all curious to learn more about how our tiles could be used in homes, studios, restaurants, and hospitality projects. Conversations often circled around the warmth, durability, and tactile quality of the material, and many visitors were surprised by the ease of installation and the variety of finishes that can be achieved.

The Expo gave us a valuable chance to connect with people from all over the world. It’s exciting to see how much growing interest there is in the use of sustainable, natural materials in contemporary design and architecture — values that sit at the core of what we do at Ha Partners.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. Special thanks go to Nara Prefecture for their continued support, and to the brilliant team at Otani Mokuzai Co., Ltd., whose help made our participation possible.

Thanks to everyone who visited our stand — we hope to see you again soon.
