    Quality

Our Tiles are made from 100% solid Japanese Cedar (Sugi). Every tile we produce goes through our own highly controlled process, developed specifically for this product. Over time, we’ve refined each stage — from drying and cutting to finishing and inspection — to achieve a level of quality that sets us apart.
Proportioned to one-twelfth of a traditional Tatami mat, our flooring system allows for multiple layout options with minimal waste. Surface treatment ensures the tiles are hard wearing and well suited to a variety of interiors.
Designed for strength, longevity, and effortless beauty

Our flooring can be arranged in a variety of patterns, offering versatility to suit a range of design visions. Whether stacked in clean, uniform rows, laid in classic brick, or arranged in the intricate beauty of herringbone, the compact format of the tiles allows for dynamic compositions that enhance any space.

The most minimal of all arrangements, the stacked layout offers clarity, rhythm, and ease of installation — ideal for a wide range of spaces.

This staggered arrangement introduces a gentle rhythm across the surface. Inspired by traditional brickwork, the offset layout is both familiar and forgiving — allowing for slight irregularities in the tiles or subfloor.

Referencing the traditional tatami mat arrangement, this layout alternates tile orientation to create a gentle, balanced rhythm. This layout typically requires minimal cutting, making it both beautiful and practical to install.

This interlocking arrangement creates texture and movement, reminiscent of classic parquet flooring. This layout may require more precise planning and some tile cutting at the edges.

While Ha Partners does not offer installation services, we provide guidance on recommended adhesives and finishing options, which can be viewed here.

Our flooring is designed to be finished in situ, giving each customer the flexibility to choose the protective treatment that best suits their environment and aesthetic preferences. The final character of the floor, including its tone, sheen, and surface durability, will depend on the finishing method selected.

If you are interested in a natural colour and hard wearing finish we recommend Bona High Traffic Natural. More information can be found here.

End-grain timber behaves differently to other wooden flooring. Its porous structure absorbs finishes more readily, which can lead to deeper and richer colouration, but it can also lead to less predictable results when using stains or oils.

We highly recommend Bona 2k oil for staining our flooring, information about this product can be found here.

We recommend approaching colour adjustments with care. While it is possible to achieve an exceptional range of tones using pigmented oils or tinted finishes, we always advise testing first on spare tiles before applying any treatment across a full installation.
